Chocolate Brownies
The most delicious brownies that I've ever had. I've used them as currency for over half my life and all over the world. Enjoy!

- 4 oz plain chocolate
- 4 oz butter
- 3 oz plain flour
- 1 oz cocoa
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 8 oz caster sugar
- 2 eggs
Preheat oven at 180ºC/350ºF/gas mark 4/ bottom of the top oven.
Line an 11" x 7" tin.
Melt the chocolate above simmering water, and then melt the butter into it (or use the microwave).
In another bowl mix together the dry ingredients.
Add the chocolate/butter mix and stir well.
Beat the eggs lightly and add to the mix.
Pour into the tin and cook for 25 to 30 mins until solid and cracked on top but still slightly gooey.
Allow to cool in tin for 10 mins before removing and allowing to cool completely.
