Chocolate Brownies
The most delicious brownies that I've ever had. I've used them as currency for over half my life and all over the world. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 oz plain chocolate
- 4 oz butter
- 3 oz plain flour
- 1 oz cocoa
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 8 oz caster sugar
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 180ºC/350ºF/gas mark 4/ bottom of the top oven.
- Line an 11″ x 7″ tin.
- Melt the chocolate above simmering water, and then melt the butter into it (or use the microwave).
- In another bowl mix together the dry ingredients.
- Add the chocolate/butter mix and stir well.
- Beat the eggs lightly and add to the mix.
- Pour into the tin and cook for 25 to 30 mins until solid and cracked on top but still slightly gooey.
- Allow to cool in tin for 10 mins before removing and allowing to cool completely.
